#1. Chipset, CPU, GPU

The Note 20 uses the Exynos 990 chipset. It is the same system on a chip that was introduced with the Galaxy S20, featuring Samsung’s 7nm FinFet process and design. Processing power is offered by an octa-core CPU split in 2 Mongoose 5 cores, 2 Cortex-A76 cores, and 4 lower clock Cortex-A55 cores. Even if the platform was launched in early 2020, it still tops the benchmarks, beating flagship phones that were launched one year later. The SoC also has an Exynos 5G modem.

For the GPU, Samsung went with the Mali-G77 MP11. It is a high-performance mobile graphics GPU that can handle any modern mobile game without breaking a sweat.

#2. RAM and Storage

When it comes to RAM, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 full phone specification sheet does not tell any compelling story. It is available only in an 8 GB of RAM configuration which is enough to run multiple applications in the background and still keep everything loading smoothly.

For storage, the Note 20 is only available with either 128 GB or 256 GB of internal storage. This should be enough even for power users. If that is not enough, the Note 20 can have storage expanded with microSD cards with a capacity of up to 1 TB.

#3. Display

The Note 20 Ultra has a curved display while the standard version does not. The standard Note 20 features a 6.7 inch AMOLED screen with HDR10, a maximum display resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. This means a pixel density of 393 ppi which is worthy of a flagship phone.

#4. Cameras

Cameras on the Note 20 are the same as on the Galaxy S20. This means that we have the same 12 MP wide sensor camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a 12 MP ultrawide sensor, and a 64 mp telephoto camera. All these specs mean nothing without proper software optimization, image processing, and image stabilization. The Galaxy Note 20 manages to do all that just as well as the S20.

#5. Battery

It would not make sense to have such a powerful smartphone that can be used as a productivity or gaming gadget without a proper battery. According to the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 full phone specification sheet, the device uses a 4300 mAh battery. That should be enough for a full day of intense usage. Qi wireless charging comes as default and the Note 20 can be used to charge other devices that also support wireless charging thus the smartphone can be used as a power bank.
